Banana-Infused Corn Flakes: A Breakfast Delight

  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas
  • 2 cups corn flakes
  • 1/2 cup whipped butter or ghee
  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup roughly chopped cashews


  1. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. Set it aside.
  2. In another bowl, mix the corn flakes with mashed bananas. Let it sit for 5 minutes or until the flakes soften.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the whipped butter and sugar until it forms a creamy mixture. Add the eggs to this mixture.
  4. Combine the softened corn flakes and chopped cashews with the egg mixture. Gradually blend in the flour mixture.
  5. Using a spoon, gently spread the mixture into a 9 x 5 x 3-inch baking dish.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 1 hour or until the center is set. Allow it to cool for 10 minutes before removing it from the dish. Let it cool completely before slicing and wrapping it in plastic.
