Ingredients (Makes about 16 bars)
For the base:
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup crushed Butterfinger candy bars (about 2 full-size bars)
For the topping:
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup crushed Butterfinger candy bars (for topping)
Instructions
- Make the base:
In a medium bowl, stir together graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, melted butter, peanut butter, and crushed Butterfinger until smooth and well combined. - Press into pan:
Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper or foil and press the mixture evenly into the bottom. - Make the topping:
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter together in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. (Alternatively, melt over a double boiler.) - Spread and top:
Pour the chocolate mixture over the base and spread evenly. Sprinkle the remaining crushed Butterfinger on top. - Chill:
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm. - Slice and serve:
Once set, lift out of the pan using the parchment, cut into bars, and enjoy!
