Ingredients (Makes about 16 bars)

For the base:

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup crushed Butterfinger candy bars (about 2 full-size bars)

For the topping:

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup crushed Butterfinger candy bars (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Make the base:
    In a medium bowl, stir together graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, melted butter, peanut butter, and crushed Butterfinger until smooth and well combined.
  2. Press into pan:
    Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper or foil and press the mixture evenly into the bottom.
  3. Make the topping:
    In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and peanut butter together in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. (Alternatively, melt over a double boiler.)
  4. Spread and top:
    Pour the chocolate mixture over the base and spread evenly. Sprinkle the remaining crushed Butterfinger on top.
  5. Chill:
    Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
