Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked shredded or diced chicken (rotisserie chicken works great)

  • 6 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of chicken soup

  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix

  • 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 (32 oz) bag frozen tater tots

  • Optional: chopped green onions for garnish


Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.

  • In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon (reserve a small amount for topping), cream of chicken soup, sour cream, ranch seasoning, and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until well combined.

  • Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared casserole dish.

  • Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer over the top of the chicken mixture.

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 40–45 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.

  • Remove from the oven and sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of cheddar cheese and reserved bacon over the top.
