Instructions
- Prepare the Base Layer:
- Melt the dark or milk chocolate in a double boiler or microwave. Stir frequently to prevent burning.
- Pour the melted chocolate onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and spread it evenly with an offset spatula.
- Allow the base layer to cool and set completely at room temperature or in the refrigerator.
- Add the White Chocolate Layer:
- Melt the white chocolate using the same method as the base layer.
- Carefully spread the melted white chocolate over the hardened dark chocolate layer, ensuring it covers evenly.
- Sprinkle the Peppermint:
- Immediately sprinkle the crushed peppermint candies over the warm white chocolate layer.
- Press gently to ensure the candy pieces stick to the chocolate.
- Set and Break:
- Chill the peppermint bark in the refrigerator for 1–2 hours or until completely hardened.
- Once set, remove it from the refrigerator and break it into uneven pieces for serving or packaging.
