Polish Sausage, Sauerkraut, and Potatoes: A Comforting Trio

Ingredients

  • Polish sausage (Kielbasa), sliced
  • Sauerkraut
  • Yukon Gold or red potatoes, cubed
  • Chicken broth
  • Caraway seeds
  • Bay leaf
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Layer Ingredients: Place sauerkraut on the bottom of a crockpot or skillet, add potatoes, and top with sausage.
  • Add Seasonings: Pour in chicken broth, add caraway seeds, bay leaf, salt, and pepper.
  • Cook: If using a crockpot, set on low for 6–8 hours. For skillet, cook on medium-low until potatoes are tender.
  • Serve: Stir before serving, and enjoy!
