Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds chicken pieces (legs, thighs, or breasts)
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)

- Prepare the Coating: In a large bowl, combine flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix well.
- Coat the Chicken: Remove chicken from buttermilk, letting excess drip off. Dredge each piece in the flour mixture for an even coating.
