Instructions

  • Mix the egg yolks: In a separate bowl, whisk the sugar, vanilla sugar, and egg yolks until smooth. Blend in the cornstarch.
  • Combine ingredients: Remove the lemon zest from the heated milk. Gradually whisk in the egg yolk mixture into the milk, cooking over medium heat until a thick cream forms.
  • Cool the cream: Allow the cream to cool completely before transferring it to a glass form. Refrigerate for about an hour.
